The flat is the perfect setting for a family holiday. It is very central, only a two minute walk to the tube station (stop: Barceloneta on line 4) and bus stops. It is on a quiet pedestrian street. It is an attic flat (top floor) so it is well-lit and ventilated, but up many stairs. There is no lift in this modernist building so the flat is not suitable for people with problems of mobility.

The living-dining room has a sofa bed and folding dining table and chairs. There is a colour TV and DVD player and a small library. Our fun feature here is a large hammock, tied up against the ceiling by a clever pulley system when not in use.. When lowered, it can accommodate family siestas. (The weight limit is 300 kg, please do your sums!) There is also an air-conditioning/ heating unit which can keep the entire flat at a comfortable temperature when the doors are kept open.
The master bedroom has a double bed plus cupboard and chest of drawers. There is also a portable radio/ tape recorder.
The second bedroom, clearly intended for children, has two single beds (one is folding) and a desk. There is a small library of books for children and the cupboard under the bed is stocked with a variety of games and toys. You may take the kite out to the nearby beach or park and give it a go if there is a strong breeze!
The kitchen and shower room are small but perfectly functional. In the kitchen, the fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave oven with grill are all brand new. There is also a gas range cooker and electric oven with grill. You will also find an electric sandwich grill, an electric kettle and an electric juicer.
The flat is also equipped with a blow dryer, iron and ironing board and vacuum cleaner. There are bath and beach towels, beach bags , changes of bed-linen and blankets.
